6 Things to Do During Lockdown

The past few weeks have been a testing time for the most of us.




Entering 2020, we could never have imagined living in a world of social distancing and self quarantine, yet here we are 6 weeks into lockdown, adjusting to a very new normal.


Although there's certainly no pressure to be hyper productive or even have a 'pla' as Phoebe would say, here are a few ideas to make the most of your free time at home.




1. Try a new workout

Aside from a daily walk, there is a plethora of free workouts available on YouTube for you to put to the test. Whether it's a relaxing yoga flow or a full body blast, take this time to find a new routine that works for you.

2. Get creative in the kitchen

It seems as though we've all stepped up our kitchen skills during lockdown and that's certainly something to be proud of. The number of banana bread related posts have sky-rocketed (more on that to come), but why not take a look at our Pinterest board here for even more recipe inspo.








3. Start a new project or hobby

Tie-dying and candle making are just a few of the DIY projects that have gained popularity in recent weeks, but it doesn't have to stop there.


There are endless resources available at our fingertips. From marketing to nutrition, there is an online course out there for any and every one of your interests. This is a great opportunity to build on your skill-set, expand your knowledge and perhaps even get to work on that new business idea.

4. Declutter

If not now, when? Clear out your wardrobe, organise the kitchen shelves, declutter your living space - you'll feel so much more clear-headed and calm with everything clean and in order. Create your zen.







5. Indulge in a little extra self-care

Face masks, long baths, 3-course meals or binge watching a Netflix series. Whatever self-care looks like for you, now is the time to indulge.








6. Stay connected

And finally, don't forget to keep in touch with loved ones. Check in on your friends, zoom call the family, arrange a group quiz night - we're pretty fortunate to have the technology to stay connected, wherever we are.
