Updated: Jun 13

With social distancing and self isolation, we're inevitably spending a lot more time at home. As great as it is to be productive, declutter and work on projects, sometimes a day or evening of Netflix is just so needed. Take your mind off things, give yourself a mental break and kick back with one of these binge-worthy shows.

Friends

A true classic, there really isn't much that can rival an episode of Friends to lift your mood. This sitcom follows the lives of 6 friends navigating life in New York City, encountering everything from career changes to relationship struggles and just about everything in-between. Not only will this series have you actually laughing out loud, it also provides some major 90s style inspo.

Selling Sunset

With season 2 released just a few short days ago, Selling Sunset is a reality show that reveals some behind-the-scenes action of the L.A. luxury real estate market. It follows the personal and professional lives of the glamorous agents at The Oppenheim Group, showcasing some of the most extravagant Los Angeles homes along the way.

Gilmore Girls

Another feel-good classic starring Lorelai, a young coffee-obsessed single mother and her studious teen daughter Rory. As the series unfolds in the quaint town of Stars Hollow, we watch Rory grow through a rebellious teen phase and into an Ivy League college, whilst her mother pursues her dream of running her own inn. The comedy-drama has been so popular that it even made a recent revival, 'Gilmore Girls; A Year in The Life' which you'll also find on Netflix.

The Crown

Intrigued by the British royal family? So are we. The Crown is a historical drama that gives an insight into the major events of Queen Elizabeth II's reign. Uncovering romances, political rivalries and family friction, the show will have you hooked in no time.

Suits

An American drama series revolving around an elite Manhattan law firm. The series kicks off with a college dropout on-the-run, landing himself a position at the fast paced firm. He fights to keep his lack of qualifications a secret as he works alongside top corporate lawyer Harvey Spector. You might also be interested to know that Meghan Markle stars in seven seasons of the show (before becoming a member of the royal family that is).
